Scan: PHerc0009B/20250521125136-8.640um-1.2m-116keV-masked.zarr (8.64 um). Supersedes the 10-28 corpus run (volcomp/PHerc0009B/representations/ufsm-c2f-20261028, left in place).

Method: wind96 network fields (phase, normals, density) -> global count-field reference model -> slab fits snapped to the
reference (fit-fix build, ufsm master ad6198f, which includes the 3b40993 phase gate and the 2c54b28 OOM guards) -> fit-join
-> per-wrap surfaces (ufsm wraps, --min-cm2 0.5) -> one continuous spiral strip (ufsm strip) -> strip-flatten (chunked SLIM
+ blend) -> render (CT + ift3-24000 ink, holes filled along the normal and inpainted) -> strip-mosaic.

Scores (pod logs, tsv/):
  join: integer agreement on the slab overlaps 0.825
  wrap-check: CT papyrus peaks per fitted turn 0.954 overall (1 = right); 0.71-0.89 from 0 to 3 mm, 0.99-1.02 from 3 to 7 mm, 1.12-1.46 from 7 to 16 mm (fit under-counts there), 0.6-1.07 beyond; verdicts 69 real, 11 dup, 0 merged.
  Outer-end duplicate wraps: dropped. wrap-check flags w152-w162 as duplicated outer turns (and w163-w177 are a low-papyrus tail), so the strip stops at w151 (--last 151) and wraps/ holds w082-w151 only.
