PHerc0139 whole-scroll unroll, ufsm coarse-to-fine (c2f), 2026-10-31

Scan: PHerc0139/20250728140407-9.362um-1.2m-113keV-masked.zarr (9.362 um). Supersedes the 10-28 corpus run (volcomp/PHerc0139/representations/ufsm-c2f-20261028, left in place).

Method: wind96 network fields (phase, normals, density) -> global count-field reference model -> slab fits snapped to the
reference (fit-fix: phase gate as in master 3b40993) -> fit-join -> per-wrap surfaces (ufsm wraps, --min-cm2 0.5) -> one continuous spiral strip (ufsm strip
--last 156) -> strip-flatten (chunked SLIM + blend) -> render (CT + ift3-24000 ink, holes filled along the normal and
inpainted) -> strip-mosaic.

Scores (pod logs, tsv/):
  join: integer agreement on the slab overlaps 0.897
  wrap-check: CT papyrus peaks per fitted turn 1.072 overall (1 = right); 0.77 at 0-1 mm, 1.30-1.11 from 1 to 9 mm (fit under-counts the CT there), 1.09-0.95 from 9 to 21 mm, falling at the outer edge; verdicts 119 real, 2 dup, 0 merged.
  Outer-end duplicate wraps dropped: wrap-check flags w157-w158 as duplicated outer turns, so the strip stops at w156 (--last 156) and wraps/ holds w037-w156 only (the 21 wraps w157-w177 are left out).
  strip: 120 wraps w156 -> w037 (outermost first), 303933 x 4225 vertices, flattened 924.9 cm x 18.0 cm, mesh area 11910 cm2, aniso p50/p95 1.05/1.20, flips 0.049% of area; the two innermost seams (w039->w038->w037) have gaps of ~31-33 column pitches, all others median 0.96
  renders: 17 stripes at 9.362 um/px, valid 11530 cm2 with fill, on papyrus (CT >= 80 within 3x3 px) 0.652
